Tap into your Power: Vibrations and Meditations to Ignite your Life.

While on vacation in Destin, Florida, we stopped at #5Below for...who knows. Just some casual inexpensive shopping. If you ever get a chance, check out their book selection. You can't beat $5 books. I purchased 6 books including, Tap into your Power, Vibrations and meditations to ignite your life, by Stephanie Keith. It's a short book about rising above fears, releasing negative self-talk and energy, tapping into your inner intuition and power, and cultivating more love, peace, and purpose. I read it in 6 hours a few days after purchasing.


This book is beautifully and mindfully written with peaceful water-colored illustrations throughout. If you're new to your spiritual journey, this is a wonderful book to start with. It's actually a great book if you've been in your journey for years because we tend to forget some things. The higher self, embracing your power, intention setting, healing the past, finding your purpose, and manifesting hope, peace, and abundance are several of the main points. There are also mantras, affirmations, breathing techniques, journal prompts, resources, and recommendations.

I'll list the top 3 main points I was dealing with at the time of reading and what I gained from them.



Dealing with Toxic Energy

It's amazing how an exchange with one person can drain you of so much energy. It doesn't have to be this way. Even though, I've learned over time how to deal with this, it's still great to have a reminder and learn new techniques. She gives examples, journal prompts, and practices for breaking the energetic cord.

"People living their best life and holding a high vibration are not going to go out of their way to knock you down." (p. 73). This is what you have to understand about the naysayers; their constant negativity is a reminder that life isn't so well for them. Your 2 choices with them are: keep your interactions with them short, sweet, and to the point or continue to only focus on the positivity of the conversation. They understand both. You cannot control their negativity. You only control your actions and reactions. Choose wisely.



There are no Limits

"The only limits that exist are the limits your mind makes up." (p. 60). Creating the life you want shouldn't have limits. Dream big and have unwavering faith that it is going to happen, even when everything seems impossible. This chapter explains how to visualize the things we want by putting ourselves in the scenario in the present. If you're manifesting a new luxury car, you should be able to smell the leather interior, feel the heated seats, and feel how smooth the ride is while gripping the steering wheel. Know that you have it because you deserve it. You are limitless, timeless, and boundless.



Expand your Consciousness (Subconscious Obstacles)

Have you ever wanted something, but you just can't seem to get it? You pray and/or meditate but do you really feel and KNOW it's supposed to be yours or happen for you? You have conscious desires, but your subconscious doesn't believe you. "Your subconscious gets in the way by telling you all of the reasons why this can't happen, why you don't deserve it, and why it's unrealistic, leaving you full of doubt," (pg. 47). Our subconscious mind has picked up multiple fear-based beliefs that we've held onto for the majority of our lives. And they are constantly reinforced by our family, friends, culture, and media. Think about the amount of time a child spends at school under the care and supervision of adults that probably hate their lives. Between the teachers, media, and working parents, what will become of the child? The subconscious mind becomes a product of its surroundings.

Reprogramming your thoughts is not impossible. Being conscious of your unconscious thinking takes time and practice. As soon as the self-doubt and fearful thoughts start, redirect them. Speak, act, and think as if you've already achieved your desires because the subconscious mind does not know reality vs. imagination.



As stated earlier, these are just a few of multiple ways to tap into your power and manifest the life you want. This book is short and to the point with real life examples and experiences from the author to guide you in your journey. I enjoyed reading this book as it reminded me of a few practices I've forgot along the way...practices that are vital to growth.
